Auntie Green’s Progress

I have been struggling to keep up with the monthly Auntie Green BOM shipments from Homestead Hearth.  I still have this months to stitch which is all that intertwining brown vine and I am really not looking forward to this because it is so boring.
Fitting the vine on the fabric that was left was a struggle for me and I ended up having to remove some pieces and rearrange them.
If anyone out there reading this decides to make this quilt I would recommend marking the vine placement before you start the floral appliqué in the corners then there shouldn’t be a problem.

I think I need to put it back up on the wall and take another look because looking at this picture that top right corner looks way off.
If you hear a  LOUD noise it will be me screaming if I have to do that vine over.

Have a great week and happy stitching,
Nancy

OK, no screaming necessary.  It was just my fabulous  picture taking skills.

  1. You've done a lovely job with fabric selection Nancy - gorgeous! I am doing this in neutrals at the moment and know what you mean about fitting the vine...I have had to fiddle with flower placement too but luckily fitted the vine first :)
