Auntie Green’s Progress

I have been struggling to keep up with the monthly Auntie Green BOM shipments from Homestead Hearth.  I still have this months to stitch which is all that intertwining brown vine and I am really not looking forward to this because it is so boring.
Fitting the vine on the fabric that was left was a struggle for me and I ended up having to remove some pieces and rearrange them.
If anyone out there reading this decides to make this quilt I would recommend marking the vine placement before you start the floral appliqué in the corners then there shouldn’t be a problem.

I think I need to put it back up on the wall and take another look because looking at this picture that top right corner looks way off.
If you hear a  LOUD noise it will be me screaming if I have to do that vine over.

Have a great week and happy stitching,
Nancy

OK, no screaming necessary.  It was just my fabulous  picture taking skills.

You've done a lovely job with fabric selection Nancy - gorgeous! I am doing this in neutrals at the moment and know what you mean about fitting the vine...I have had to fiddle with flower placement too but luckily fitted the vine first :)

Looking good Nancy, the vine is mindless stitching now that you have it in place. Beautiful so far

The intertwining vines look very nice. Were they hard to do?

Wow! Your AG is just stunning, thank goodness you didn't have to re-do the vine. Thanks for the tip about marking the vine first - will do.

Glad you didn't have to redo. The quilt is beautiful. Watch a couple of movies and the vine will be done in no time!
