More little quilts & a Winner

First the winner of the giveaway is number 24 Annette.

Annette said this about the reason she reads blogs.

I LOVE blogging and bloggers! I am so inspired by blogs...including yours. So many talented quilters out there and within reach of a computer screen. Just amazing. And I appreciate the kindness and support from those who read mine. That keeps me motivated. The blogging world is an awesome community isn't it.

Most of the comments were similar to Annette's.   I think we just enjoy connecting with other quilters.  I know I do.  If you would like to connect with Annette go here.  Thanks to everyone who took the time to come by and leave a comment and congratulations to Annette.

This little quilt was made from a SAL by Cheri at quiltsbycheri's blog.  She calls it Piecework Sampler.  As hard as I try I just can't  pass up a SAL from Cheri.

My second little quilt was made from a pattern I won in a giveaway on Quilty Folk.  You should check out both of these blogs because they always have something interesting going on.

Finally let's not forget to remember and honor all of America's Heroes on this Memorial Day.

Little Tumblers

We had Shop Hope here in Atlanta this month and one of the things I picked up was this little tumbler pattern.  It makes the cutest little quilt using 2 inch squares or strips.  I used some of my leftover bits to make this little quilt.

I think it's just too cute.

This Quilt

This is my first binding finish.  I thought I would start small.  This little quilt is called "This Quilt" and it is a pattern from Quilts by Cheri.  Cheri has some great primitive patterns and she is always posting free little quilt patterns on her blog.
This Quilt measures 30 x 17 and was quick to make because all the applique’ is wool.

I hope you are having a wonderful day,
Nancy

Tiny Quilts

This little quilt is  from Quilts by Cheri.  It's called Puss in the Corner.  If you would like to make one  the directions are on her blog.  Just click on her name and it will take you there.
Puss in the Corner is 14 1/2 inches square.  It's made from four patch and solid blocks.  Really simple.

I am also a member of Temecula Quilt Companies Monthly Mini.  This is last months little quilt.
It's called Freedom Rings and measures 12 x 16.  The little bowtie blocks are 2" finished.
I have started quite a collection of these little quilts and am running out of places to put them.
I sometime feel like my head is spinning around because I have so many things going at the same time.  Every time I think I am getting all caught up another little package arrives in the mail.
What was I thinking?
Hope you are all having a wonderful day.
Nancy
