Sally Post Top

I have all my Sally Post blocks together - lots of pink and green going on here.   It's hard to tell just how they really look in this picture.
I am thinking I need to move to a house with higher ceilings so I have a place to hang my quilts.  That doesn't sound like an unreasonable request does it?

  2. Your quilt is amazing! Could you add some close-up pics of some of the flowers? The more the merrier! I love appliqued flowers and just bought myself the book, "Flowering Quilts" by Kim Schaefer. I would never even dream of making a quilt as complicated as yours but I'd like to try my hand at something easier and smaller. Are you planning to hand quilt this one?

  5. Absolutely gorgeous!! I love it - the colours are wonderful and great that you have introduced a touch of yellow/gold too.
It is such a nuisance moving house - maybe you could just have the roof raised ?? Not unreasonable either I am sure...

  11. How wonderful! I've been following your progress on this quilt. I know I'll make it some day, but I've just started the Chester Criswell applique quilt so Sally Post will have to wait awhile. Your fabrics and colors are lovely and will inspire others to make the quilt.
