I have all my Sally Post blocks together - lots of pink and green going on here. It's hard to tell just how they really look in this picture.
I am thinking I need to move to a house with higher ceilings so I have a place to hang my quilts. That doesn't sound like an unreasonable request does it?

Ohhhhhh ... that is looking so beautiful !! I love it !!!
ReplyDeleteYou have my blessing to move LOL
Your quilt is amazing! Could you add some close-up pics of some of the flowers? The more the merrier! I love appliqued flowers and just bought myself the book, "Flowering Quilts" by Kim Schaefer. I would never even dream of making a quilt as complicated as yours but I'd like to try my hand at something easier and smaller. Are you planning to hand quilt this one?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Quilt! Hugs, Mary
ReplyDeleteOh, so lovely, Nancy! Aren't you proud of this? Certainly it deserves a home with a higher ceiling!! : )
ReplyDeleteWow - your quilt looks fabulous, congratulations! Yes, you definitely need to move so that you can display beauties such as this one.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!! I love it - the colours are wonderful and great that you have introduced a touch of yellow/gold too.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a nuisance moving house - maybe you could just have the roof raised ?? Not unreasonable either I am sure...
Hilda
What a gorgeous quilt!! And no...totally reasonable...you NEED a house with tall ceilings!!
ReplyDeleteme gusta este trabajo !!! es una maravilla, con mis colores favorito
ReplyDelete¡¡¡¡creo que no es demasiado pedir una casa con techos altos !!!!

saludos
Nancy, your Sally's Post quilt is beautiful! It's amazing how quickly you get your appliqué done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. Great choices.
ReplyDeleteCan you hear me clapping for you? What a great job, I've got as far as saving the patterns on my pc! Love the finished piece.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! I've been following your progress on this quilt. I know I'll make it some day, but I've just started the Chester Criswell applique quilt so Sally Post will have to wait awhile. Your fabrics and colors are lovely and will inspire others to make the quilt.
ReplyDeleteNot unreasonable at all. Sounds perfectly logical! Amazing work on your Sally Post quilt. It looks incredibly lovely.
