End of the Year Post

I really can’t believe another year has come and gone.  Looking back on what I have accomplished all I see are lots of blocks laying around.  First there are all the Chester Chriswell blocks.  We are now up to block 27 .

The Susanna Chriswell block.

Then there are the Benjamin Biggs blocks

Block Eleven
Block twelve

I did complete this little quilt to give to my Granddaughter and her Americian Girl doll as a Christmas gift.  They both loved it.  I think it was the minky leopard fabric on the back they loved.

  3. Your blocks are beautiful. You also finished a good portion of Auntie Green's. I am looking forward to working on that quilt some more this next year. Happy New Year Nancy

  4. Congratulations on so many blocks that will one day be more quilts! You do such a beautiful job with your appliqué! The granddaughter's quilt is so cute and colorful! Funny, I used the very same pattern for Lacey's little doll quilt. Happy New Year!!

  5. We both know how long it takes to stitch applique blocks. So this coming year we'll probably see all those blocks stitched together. You've been working on beautiful heirloom projects. Keep going.

  10. Somehow the applique blocks start to add up and before you know it - the quilt is together. Applique is the tortoise in the race with the hare...slow and steady dedication wins everytime. Your work is beautiful and your patience shows.

    Happy New Year!
