I really can’t believe another year has come and gone. Looking back on what I have accomplished all I see are lots of blocks laying around. First there are all the Chester Chriswell blocks. We are now up to block 27 .
The Susanna Chriswell block.
Then there are the Benjamin Biggs blocks
Block Eleven
Block twelve
I did complete this little quilt to give to my Granddaughter and her Americian Girl doll as a Christmas gift. They both loved it. I think it was the minky leopard fabric on the back they loved.
una colcha preciosa!

feliz año nuevo

Oh I think you have accomplished a lot--applique takes time for sure (ask me how I know lol??)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours! hugs,Julierose
Your blocks are beautiful. You also finished a good portion of Auntie Green's. I am looking forward to working on that quilt some more this next year. Happy New Year Nancy
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on so many blocks that will one day be more quilts! You do such a beautiful job with your appliqué! The granddaughter's quilt is so cute and colorful! Funny, I used the very same pattern for Lacey's little doll quilt. Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteWe both know how long it takes to stitch applique blocks. So this coming year we'll probably see all those blocks stitched together. You've been working on beautiful heirloom projects. Keep going.
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks!
ReplyDeleteA very happy New Year to you with lots of stitching!
Your Block 27s look great. There are only 6 more blocks to go - nearly there! Have a wonderful 2015, cheers from Sharon
ReplyDeleteThe Criswell block has a unique design. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteYou keep up with the QALs so very well! I'm just terrible at it so try not to bring on the disappointment of not doing it right.:) Love your wonderful applique work.:)
ReplyDeleteSomehow the applique blocks start to add up and before you know it - the quilt is together. Applique is the tortoise in the race with the hare...slow and steady dedication wins everytime. Your work is beautiful and your patience shows.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Those are gorgeous blocks! And the quilt finishes lovely, too. Nice output for the year, Nancy.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Nancy!!
