I completed the wreath for Auntie Green’s Garden last night. Please forgive the shadowing from underneath. I was just too tried to take everything down before I took the picture.
Someone remarked that this was a big project to undertake but I don’t think of it as a whole I just worry about the part I am working on at the moment. Then bit by bit you have a quilt top.
I wonder what part of the quilt we will stitch next month.
Happy stitching,
Nancy
Beautiful. You have lots of great appliques on the go, and I agree, one block at a time and then you will have enough for a quilt top. It would be daunting to look at it as a 'whole' endeavor!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I never tire of seeing this lovely quilt. Look forward to seeing next month's installment :)

This really is a gorgeous quilt! Your work definitely does it justice.:)
ReplyDeleteSew Beautiful.....this is a pattern I would like to do someday.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Nancy! Nice work!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Nancy!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, worry about the part you are working on and bit by bit you have a quilt!
I was studying all the fabrics in your medallion. Pretty choices. All is well stitched. A beautiful center for your quilt.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done!! I like your approach to appliqueing on a large project - not so overwhelming when you look at it a section at a time.
ReplyDeleteNancy it looks wonderful. You are fast! I decided to do this as a block of the month because I really do not have a very big stash, I never buy fabric without a specific purpose. I am also not very good at picking the lighter pastels, I always go for the dark bold hues. I am loving the pace of the block of the month, so far I am keeping up and looking forward to the next little package in the mail.
ReplyDeleteI see you did take advantage of the snow days! Absolutely beautiful, as usual! You amaze me at all you get done!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how quickly you sewed the wreath on! I'm beginning to think that I must be a slow sewer.
ReplyDeleteLooks great, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteYour work is so beautiful, Nancy! I'm envious of people who can do that level of hand work.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I have this pattern but haven't started the quilt yet.
ReplyDeleteI have this pattern (not BOM) too but haven't started it yet. Just finished a major (for me) quilt, trying to catch up on LE and now that I see yours, am seriously considering starting Auntie Green! Yours is wonderful!
