Sally Post Floral Sampler

I started the Sally Post Floral Sampler quilt that is available from Gay at Sentimental Stitches  and here are my first three blocks. 
 Gay started offering the blocks for free again to go along with the  Grandmothers Choice Votes for Women quilt that Barbara Brackman is posting each week.
 I choose to just make the Sally Post blocks




The blocks trim up to  7 5/8 inches so the applique pieces are a lot smaller than the ones in the quilts I have been working on and stitch up a lot quicker.
At the moment I am considering using these fabrics for the setting triangles and sashing.   
What do you think?

    I love those blocks. I printed them off when Gay offered them before, and I've even chosen background fabric. Your blocks make me want to get busy on mine. I love the background and sashing fabric you've chosen.

    Love the red for the setting trianlges. I'm printing patterns, but still stitching up another pattern. Itching to jump into this one!

    your first sally post blocks are gorgeous! so nice to see them worked up as you have. i'm collecting the blocks now, to work up some time soon. thanx for the inspiration and encouragement.

    Beautiful work. I love the fabrics you are using.
    I have been printing out the blocks, but I haven't started stitching yet. :(

    I like the fabrics you have chosen for the backgrounds. Your cheddar goes well with the appliqué fabrics and colors, too. I had not realized the patterns were free again. Thanks for letting us know.
