Yesterday I finished putting the sashing squares around my Flower Garden Quilt. It took quite a bit of time to cut and sew all these little 1 1/2 inch squares but I think it was worth it. I really like all the variety of color they bring to the quilt. I am still stitching on the final border between stitching on my Sally Post blocks.
These quilts are so different and I like them both. Here are blocks four, five and six of Sally Post. I still have some embroidery to do on block four. Maybe the embroidery will help that big green leaf.
And on another note - Is anyone else out there having trouble with blogger. I am not able to make any changes to the look of my blog at all. This has been going on for quite some time and it doesn’t seem to me like they are doing anything about it.

The time spent on the square sashing was worth it, what a gorgeous quilt. As for blogger, I'm afraid my blog will disappear, so aside from changing the header and posting, I leave well enough alone.
your flower garden is gorgeous! i'm saving the sally post, will work on it later. i don't muck with my blog either; they've made enough changes to it.
Your flower garden just gets prettier and prettier--both quilts worth! Congratulations on getting all those little pieces cut and sewn--really does tie the blocks together nicely! Blogger always gives me trouble, so I'm no help.

Oh my, your Flower Garden is beautiful and the tiny squares do make a difference, don't they? Maybe I'll have to cut them for my Flower Pots after all!

I have not tried any blog layout changes so I have not noticed any issues.
