Easy Street

My thoughts about Bonnie Hunters new mystery quilt Easy Street .  I won’t do it this year..OK maybe I will.   NO, not enough time too much else to do.  Oh, what the heck everyone else in my little group is doing it might as well join in.
I started a little late and I must say not my best work but I am all caught up.  I had everything except the grey and a couple of white & blacks in my stash.  I am still trying to figure out why it is called Easy Street.  I find flying geese to be one of the hardest blocks and those shaded four patch good grief but Bonnies quilts are always worth the effort.
Happy stitching,
Nancy

  1. I'm still working on Carolina Christmas from a few years ago. I don't do well with mysteries, so once I saw the finished piece, I knew I was going to make it. Plus it got me up and running with the Easy Angle rulers that she uses. Love your header, the bottom left pic has lovely mini's in it, well, all the pieces are great, but the cheddar/red just grabs my attention.

  2. Oh my, I love the new look of your blog! What a great way to showcase all the new little quilts you just made. You are ahead of me on Easy Street but my shaded four patches are moving along today. Maybe I'll be finished in time for tomorrow's next clue. Glad you joined us on "Easy Street".
