Harrison Rose

Dawn did a nice post here this morning about her new pattern Harrison Rose.  So I thought I needed to update my progress on this wonderful new quilt pattern.

I have four of the blocks stitched.
I chose to make my quilt in pinks and greens mainly because I have collected so many bubblegum pinks and second because  I have two red and green quilts in progress at the moment.

I am  glad I did because it is turning out to be so bright and cheerful.  I am sure I won’t have any trouble finding a home for this one.

The blocks are so easy to stitch and I have several more prepped and ready.

Dawn has hers in the quilting frame and is stitching all the beautiful feather designs that are also included in the pattern.  I wish I was that far along but then I remember it is all about the process to me. I am in no hurry because I must always have something to stitch. When I finish this one I will just being another.
Are you a product or a process person?

Happily stitching,
Nancy

  1. What a fun quilt!! And I love that you are doing it in pink and green!! I think I am also a process person but I am still having so much trouble getting an appliqué project going. I get frustrated at the prepping stage. Any suggestions from my favorite applique gal? :-))

  2. Oh your blocks are so beautiful! I love your color choices. Yum! And I guess I both a process and product person. I usually have about a dozen or more projects to work on at any one time. Is that wrong?

  3. Love your interpretation of the blocks. I think I must be a combo person. I love the process, but then I reach a point when I just want to get it done. I hate to have it drag out forever.

  7. You have made wonderful progress Nancy! I do love the colour scheme you've chosen - just beautiful with the pink and yellow! Definitely a process person here - if the process isn't fun and challenging, then it's not for me :)

  8. You have chosen such pretty fabrics for each block - it's hard to pick a favorite. They are all SO pretty! I do enjoy the process but after a while, I need to get it finished so I can began another quilt and start the process all over again........not sure what that says about me.
