I have been working on so much red and green fabric I decided I needed a little color in my life.
This is Flower Pots by Kim McClean.
I really like Kim McClean’s patterns the pieces are large, the curves are gradual and very easy to stitch and she lets the fabric do most of the work for you.
These blocks are only prepped and need to be stitch but it was a nice change to work with some of Kaffe Fassett’s beautiful fabrics.

Very pretty! It's fun to see how the Kaffe fabrics make every applique so different, yet wonderful in their own way.

ReplyDeleteSuch happy blocks! They must be so fun to work - they would certainly brighten up a cold and snowy winter's day.

ReplyDeleteHappy colors and I like the flowers too! I've always wanted to make a Kim McLean pattern, maybe someday. You're doing a great job on the applique.

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Nancy -- are they raw edge then machine stitched ? or are you turning them ? They are so very beautiful -- a nice reminder of spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the blog... Karen
I too love Kaffe fabrics. I have not worked with them for a year or so. Hmmm, you've inspired me!
