Evelyn’s Quilt

I must have had too much of this while working on Evelyn’s little quilt because the more I stitched the more I ripped.  Some days I thought it would never come together.  Looking at the picture now I am not too sure it really has.  I think it’s more that I just got tired of redoing and said enough is enough.  So here it is and all that’s left is the quilting which my Daughter hopes won’t take too long.

Evelyn is now 1 1/2 and the space on her wall might finally be filled.

I bet you all thought I had flown off into space somewhere but no such luck.
Happy Stitching,
Nancy

  2. I love the message of your quilt. It turned out great, Nancy. You just get tired of seeing projects that require so much backtracking, don't you? I have never tried patchwork letters, but I'm sure I would do my share of ripping!
And it looks like Evelyn is very capable of filling her own wall space!! : )
We are lucky that you haven't flown off into space somewhere, you silly!

  9. I love this quilt. Evelyn is a very lucky little girl. I was just talking about word quilts with a friend making one. She said it involved lots of re stitching. Her group had done a study of antique word quilts.
    Great job!!
