QuiltAlbum Giveaway

I had the opportunity to evaluate QuiltAlbum software and would like to share my thoughts with you.

How many quilts have you made in your years of quilting...... any idea?  I know I don't have a clue how many I have made.
When I first started I bought several albums and started strong taking pictures, printing them and putting all the information in the album.  Then I got  busy making quilts and I stopped documenting them.
Now I know the importance of making labels for your quilts but I have to admit I don't always get one made for every quilt.

Some of the first questions people ask when looking at your quilts are.... What pattern did you use, When did you make it and What fabric is that?  I never seem to remember and the more time passes the less I remember.
Well, QuiltAlbum is an electronic scrap book.  Using this software you can upload pictures of your quilts or other projects and record all the little details that might slip your mind later.
Then you can print the page to put in your quilt album or even make a label.
You can even go a step further and make note cards or  business cards with pictures of your quilts on them.
It's very easy to use.  Once it's downloaded on your computer......You upload a photo of your quilt and  fill in the fields with all the information about your quilt.  It's that simple!

You can download the program for $29.95-but if you use the discount code ARL-AK you save $5 at checkout.  Just click on the words  QuiltAlbum and it will take you to their site to read more about the program or to order your copy.
I have been using QuiltAlbum for a couple of weeks now and am really pleased with how it works.  It is a great way to document the details about your quilts and is very easy to use.

Would you like to win a copy of QuiltAlbum?
As a thank you to my readers, the people at QuiltAlbum are giving away a copy of the program to one of you.  Just leave a comment below to be entered.  If you have a blog and post about the giveaway let me know and you'll get another entry.
Please make sure you leave me a way to contact you if you win.
I'll use the random Number Generator to choose a winner.
This giveaway will be open until 11-15-11.
THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED.

Yes, I would love to win a copy. I can't remember when I made half of my quilts and the other half I can't remember what the pattern was or what quilting was done on it.

  3. Would also love to win a copy of this....few years ago I did go back and try to remember to document everything on each quilt and that was hard. Also have tried to put a label on all of them, I'm sure this program would make it easier.
    Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. I would love to have a copy! I have heard wonderful things about it....I tried scrapbooking my quilts along with some fabric snippets and photos, but the project stalled out after the first quilt or two.

    This would be much easier!

    Thanks,

  5. That sounds like a great way to document your quilting. I was just thinking of all the quilts I have actually finished this year just because I learned how to free motion quilt. Documenting them would be a great idea!

  7. This sounds like something every quilter should have. I do make labels for all of my quilts, but after some time passes......it is just not enough information. I would love to be the winner of your drawing and get some organization going with my quilt information.

  9. I started out with a nice journal of each quilt, then just a page in a notebook for each one. Now each finish is a crossed off entry on my to-do list. I think I really need something like QuiltAlbum!

  23. I would love to win a copy of this program! The first several quilts I made (all baby quilts) I gave to the new owners before taking pictures or making labels or anything ,and now I have no idea where they are so that I can get that information from them.

This would be awesome to have so that I could keep everything organized and something to "show and tell" when someone asks me about my quilting and what I've made.......also for future generations to looks at as well.

    THanks for offering this! Sherri

  54. This program sounds ideal. My attempts to document my quilts went along the same path as yours. Yet, I know it's important, and would love to have a record of the quilts my grandmother made during her lifetime. I can't do that, but I can spare future generations some guesswork. Thanks for the chance to enter.
