Beyond The Cherry Trees

Seems like forever since I have found the time to post to the blog.
First,  I want to thank Katrina over at Sunshower Quilts for the nice prize I won.
She had a giveaway for a ScrapMaBob and I was lucky enough to win.
Katrina has a very interesting blog you should check it out.

I finished blocks 21, 22 and 23 of my Beyond the Cherry Trees quilt.
It's getting close to the end  only two more blocks left to do and then the borders.

I here the  borders have hundreds of circles.  What fun!

It is always exciting when I get to the end of an applique' quilt.  When I pick all the colors for a scrappy quilt I am never quite sure how they will all look together.

Hope you are all finding time for some stitching.

  1. I am so glad that you got it! They are a really cool gadget aren't they? I love mine and I was glad to be able to give a couple away. Great applique blocks!

  2. Nancy - So glad you weathered the storm and that you are back making your gorgeous applique blocks!! Quite awhile back, I think after drooling over some of your blocks, I purchased the Aunt Millie's Garden quilt pattern. I look a look at it a couple of nights ago, was overwhelmed AGAIN and it is now back on my bookshelf!!! One day, I hope!! Kris

  3. Beautiful applique' blocks. I really love your Lollipop Trees in your header. Your fabric choices are great!
