Rick Rack Nines - It's Really Big
Rick Rack Nines is from Leaders & Enders a Bonnie Hunter book.
She said this was a big quilt and she is right.
It has 290 nine patch blocks along with 20 half blocks all made from 2,670 - 2 inch squares.
I used just about every 2 inch square I could come up with on this one.
The alternate block fabric has little blue flowers on it but it doesn't show up in this picture.
What I need to learn is to read all the directions before I start a quilt.
I still have the borders to do but I'm taking a rest from this one.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt. What a great way to use up those scraps.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog from Millie's Quilting today. I like so many of your quilts, probably because I am a big fan of Bonnie Hunter's too. I also really like scrap quilts. Your Rick Rack Nines looks wonderful!

ReplyDeleteHi-Just found your blog today and enjoyed catching up with you. You really are producing a lot of quilts. I had read your snappy bag tutorial a while back but didn't realize it was yours. It was nice to run into you at BJ's a while back!
ReplyDeleteYou do a good job blogging.
This is really cool. I love Bonnie's scrap quilts.
