Christmas Isn't the Same

This is the second Christmas without my sweet Mother. The way you think about life sure changes when you lose your Mother. Mine will have been gone two years in May.
 She was almost 92 and I know she was ready but I was not.
I love and miss you Mom

  1. My Mom has been gone since 1996 and my Dad the year before. Christmas and many other things are just not the same without them. Even after all this time there are times I just want to tell my Mom something so badly and can't. Hope you had a nice Christmas and lots of sewing in the New Year.

  2. I am so sad for you Nancy, it must be so hard. We almost lost my Mama this year; but praise God she made it through a heart attack and then open heart surgery. It has made me treasure her even more now!
    I hope you feel happier soon! {{{{{hugs}}}}}

  3. You struck a chord in this post! My Mom has been gone for 13 years, and my beloved Dad for 16. Just the other day I almost picked up the phone to call them -- it is a testament, I think, to how much they will always mean to us!
