Now back to what I enjoy.
I have been participating in the BOM Comfort & Joy at Sweet Home Quilt Company my local quilt shop because I really needed another applique' project.

The first two months were just piecing - nine patch, flying geese,
churn dash, log cabin and half sq. triangle blocks ...with one little sq. in a sq. block.
Month three was this little applique house and this month we made a snowman and a flag.
I think this is going to be a sweet little Christmas quilt when finished.
When my house gets too bad, I offer guests a dust cloth and a broom!! hahahaha Keeps them from visiting again!! Just kidding, but I love the threat!
ReplyDeleteI solved the problem of a clean house by having someone else do the cleaning for me every other week :) Beautiful blocks!!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love the snowman......so very cute. Can't wait to see your finished quit. I know it will be so pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your blocks. I am working on the Comfort and Joy also. I am working on the snowman block.
ReplyDeleteArent we lucky to have Sweet Home Quilt Company?
One of my favorite quilt shops.
House cleaning for me is hitting the high spots when I can. I am lucky my husband doesnt have to have a hot meal every night.
I am so glad I am not the only one.. You should see this place. I had to clean off my desk because I couldn't see any tiny little spot of the desk. The sewing studio looks like it exploded. I am glad you got a lot done so now you can sew. I love your hidden treasures!
